Don Kleinsmith Writing Center
The goal of the Don Kleinsmith Writing Center is to help students in all areas of writing—from generating the initial idea to polishing the finished product. The center, named after beloved AC professor, Don Kleinsmith, is staffed by trained peer writing consultants. Students may come to the center on a walk-in basis or schedule appointments with writing center peer consultants.

We are a group of trained peer consultants who provide a free writing resource to Adrian College Students. We are majors in different academic disciplines and are skilled undergraduate writers. We strive for a collaborative atmosphere in which tutors and clients work together, and where students can become more confident and successful in their writing abilities. We do not “fix” or correct papers but work to help our clients improve their writing skills and processes by providing an extra set of eyes and ears for their work.
